Button_red Opens in new window

The Treasurer's Office has reopened as of Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Our appointment system is back online and available.

We are operating at less than full staff, so we will have fewer appointments available for the time being, and we may not get to all of your phone calls. We apologize, but our primary concerns continue to be the safety of our team, our fellow Story County employees in the Administration Building, and especially the public who is visiting the building for appointments and early voting.

We hope to remain open continuously with appointments offered every afternoon from this date forward. Thank you for your patience.

Treasurer’s Office Reopen for Half Days by Appointment

We are excited to announce that the Treasurer's Office is reopening to the public. However, public safety is our utmost concern so we will be transitioning through phases to a full reopen. Beginning on October 5th we will start phase one of the reopening plan.

All of our services will remain available through phone and email for those of you that do not feel comfortable coming into a very busy office. For those that want to complete their transactions in person, we will also be available by appointment only for the time being. Appointments can be scheduled by clicking the button above. Some notes on appointments:

  • Appointments will only be offered from 12:30PM - 4:00PM
    • We will continue to work on phone, mail, email, and dropbox items in the mornings
  • To visit the office, you will be required to make an appointment on our appointment system
  • No walk-ins will be allowed
  • Face coverings will be required inside the building
    • If you cannot wear a face covering due to a medical condition, we strongly encourage you to work with our team via phone and email to complete your transaction

It is important to us that we maintain a safe environment for our customers and our team, so please consider cancelling or rescheduling your appointment if you feel sick.

We appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time and thank you for your continued support.
