Partners - Cambridge South Skunk River Tracts

• We are fundraising to purchase 247 acres of floodplain near Cambridge. currently owned by Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. 
• The 247 acres includes the South Skunk River and its historic meanders and oxbows:
  • 45 acres of floodplain timber
  • 52 acres of row crop, to become restored prairie and savanna
• Will serve as vital habitat for native plants and animals
• Will serve as important water quality buffer along Skunk River
• Property will be open for public hunting.
• Help us reach our goal is to fundraise $225,000 in FY26 and FY27, for this $900,000 project!
