The Story County Conservation Board wants to understand the needs for conservation in Story County and how Story County Conservation can best meet its mission to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Story County by wisely managing our natural resources, by providing recreational and leisure opportunities, and by educating citizens to be wise caretakers of our natural environment.
We have developed a strategic plan and are now seeking public input. You will find an introductory letter, a draft of our strategic plan, and an online questionnaire at the following link: http://bit.ly/sccbstrategicplan
Please take a few moments to give us your feedback! Any additional comments can be directed to SCC Director Michael Cox via email at mcox@storycounty.com.
This planning is critical in meeting the needs of Story County, its citizens, and our natural resources for generations to come. Thank you for your time and consideration.
