Per the recommendations from the IDPH, CDC and Iowa’s Governor, Story County has implemented a Face Covering Policy for employees due to the challenge of maintaining social distancing of 6 feet at all times.
Employees are required to wear face coverings in public areas of County buildings and this requirement has also been extended to employees while performing on-site inspections. Your presence during inspections is not required. If you choose to participate or be present during inspections, please be mindful of the County’s policy to maintain 6 feet separation for your and County employee’s safety and protection.
