During the month of May, Story County Veterans Affairs will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 Red "My Heart" Reusable Bag from Hy-Vee. Bags are available at Hy-Vee located at 640 Lincoln Way and Hy-Vee Drugstore located at 500 Main Street, in Ames.
In this time of uncertainty due to COVID-19, supporting local non-profits has never been more important. That is why the Reusable Bag Program will continue as planned in May. Reusable bags from home are currently banned for reuse while shopping at Hy-Vee but Red “My Heart” Bags are still available for purchase in stores. Please help support Story County Veterans Affairs and consider purchasing a "My Heart" Bag at Hy-Vee this month!
