April 1 is Census Day. Please do your part and participate in the 2020 Census . The information you provide is protected by Title 13 of the federal code. Your responses inform where over $675 billion is distributed each year to communities nationwide and your responses are used to redraw legislative districts and determine the number of seats your state has in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Letters have been sent to people in Story County and you are encouraged to complete the Census survey on line. The link to the US Census website may be found here: Census 2020 The survey takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete on-line. Please see below a link to the actual survey questions, a video explaining how to access the US Census website, and Census information prepared for various languages. Also, the US Census is still taking applications for field workers.
