Programs Are Canceled, Parks Are Not 

March 17 – Per the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Story County Conservation is modifying our planned public program, classroom program, and facility rental schedule. Please visit our website before traveling to attend a previously advertised program. This is a continually evolving situation and our response will be fluid in order to best protect our staff, volunteers, and the public we serve. 

Our mission of connecting people with nature, however, will continue to be a part of our day-to-day operations. Parks and trails remain open, and we firmly believe time outside can be a strong physical and emotional remedy. Follow us on our social media platforms as we will continue to offer conservation education, discussions, and activity ideas.
