The Story County Secondary Road Department will be repairing a damaged tile under the pavement on Co. Rd. S27. The work area is located approximately 3.1 miles south of U.S. Hwy 30 between Indian Creek Trail and 272nd St. During construction, Co. Rd. S27 will be completely closed. Vehicles that normally travel Co. Rd. S27 will need to take an alternative route. The official detour for the project will be Hwy 210 to Co. Rd. S14 to US Hwy 30.
Weather permitting, we anticipate the road will be closed Monday July 1, 2019. We expect the project to take approximately 3 days to complete depending on the weather.
