[ARCHIVED] Dedication of B-17G Crash Site in Story County - May 28, 2018

B-17G Memorial in Story County

On May 28 at 2:00 pm will be a dedication of the crash site of the B-17G that went down in Story County on March 6, 1944.

Directions to the B-17 Memorial:
66308 295th St, Maxwell, IA 50161, 1.5 miles east of Iowa Center, just north of Maxwell, Iowa. You will see a building that says Iowa Center City Hall at the corner of Hwy S-27 and 295th Street. Go east on 295th Street for 1.5 miles, and the memorial will be on your right hand side.
