[ARCHIVED] Attention Trail Users: Closure on the Heart of Iowa Nature Trail

The Skunk River Bridge and the bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, located in the first mile east of Water Street in Cambridge, will be closed to users for maintenance in the next several weeks.

Story County Conservation staff does not know the exact dates at this time, and anticipate the closure taking less than one week. SCC staff will post additional signs when the closure occurs. The fences on the bridges will be removed, so for your safety please do not use the segment of trail from Water Street to 597th Avenue during this time. Thank you for your patience.
