[ARCHIVED] Ames Women Charged With Carrying Weapons

On Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 04:30 the Story County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stabbing that occurred at 5615 W. Lincoln Highway, the Crestview Mobile Home Park, Ames. The victim of the stabbing was Sean Pollard, age 25 of Ames who sustained a superficial cut to his forehead.

In the investigation, officers learned the stabbing occurred following an argument between Lari-Jo Henry, age 40 of Ames and Clarence Morrow, age 58 also of Ames. The argument started at the Morrow’s residence (5615 W. Lincoln Highway, lot #2) when Henry allegedly threatened Morrow with a knife and pushed him out the door of his home. Morrow fell from the outside steps striking his head and knee. A Good Samaritan, Sean Pollard, went to Morrow’s rescue and attempted to subdue Henry, when Henry stabbed Pollard in the forehead.

Morrow was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center by ambulance for injuries sustained to his head, neck and leg. Pollard refused medical treatment.

Lari-Jo Henry was arrested and charged with Carrying Weapons, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication and transported to the Story County Jail.
