Collect prairie seed at Story County's hidden gem, Doolittle Prairie. We'll show you what to collect and provide information about the plants around you as you work. This family-friendly seed harvest is a great opportunity to learn more about the prairie and lend a helping hand!

No prior plant identification knowledge necessary -- we'll teach you everything you need to know!

Registration is required. Long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended -- long sleeves may also be preferred, as poison ivy is present in some areas. Please bring a full water bottle.
