Inter-agency Review and Conceptual Review Team (IART/IART)
What is the Interagency Review Team and Conceptual Review?
Formally established by the Board of Supervisors in 2006, Conceptual Review Meetings are conducted by the Inter-agency Review Team (IART). 

Conceptual Review is a process where every development application is reviewed once it's received by the Planning & Development Department.  Conceptual Review may also analyze:

  • Rezoning requests
  • Subdivision requests
  • Conditional Use Permit requests

The Inter-agency Review Team combines staff from various county offices and outside jurisdictions including (but not limited to):

Meeting Times & Location

IART Conceptual Review Meetings occur monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month when cases and applications are pending.  Meetings take place at the Story County Administration building at 900 6th Street, in Nevada.
