Farm Watch Program: The goals of a Farm Watch program are to: The services offered by Farm Watch include:
Similar to the Neighborhood Watch Program Reduce opportunities for crime to occur in farming and rural communities Practical crime prevention advice to farmers and landowners to help ensure their property and goods are as secure as possible
Citizens report suspicious activities to law enforcement, other Farm Watch participants Strengthen community spirit, so that everyone works together to protect their property  A property marking scheme to make disposal of stolen goods difficult and to expedite the return of property to the rightful owner
Involves rural community citizens in efforts to prevent crime in areas surrounded by farms and large parcels of land Improve communication between the farming community and law enforcement  Signs to post of personal property
Organization includes law enforcement officials, county leaders, route captains, farmers, and rural residents Encourage people to report suspicious incidents
