Hertz Family Woods and Nature Preserve Dedication

The public is invited to the dedication of the Hertz Family Woods and Nature Preserve near Nevada on Sunday, May 27. A short program will begin at 1:30p.m. with a nature walk following. The area wasrecently donated to the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (INHF) by CarMar Farm, Ltd. As planned by the Hertz family, INHF is transferring the project to the Story County Conservation Board to be open for public enjoyment. The Hertz Family Woods and Nature Preserve (25401 Country Club Road) is located one mile south of Nevada on Country Club Road.
