Story County Conservation Board Openings

Story County Conservation Board The Story County Conservation Board is a five-member board appointed by the Story County Board of Supervisors. Board members serve for five (5) year terms expiring December 31 at the end of the fifth year. Meetings are held the second Monday of the month at 5:30 PM at the Conservation Center, McFarland Park, 56461 180th Street, Ames, IA 50010. The Conservation Board shall have the custody, control, and management of all real and personal property acquired by the county for public museums, parks, preserves, parkways, playgrounds, recreation centers, county forests, county wildlife areas, and other county conservation and recreation purposes according to Iowa Code chapter 350. All meetings of the Story County Conservation Board are open to the general public.
