The contractor has removed the old bridge and completed construction of the new box culvert. They have finished backfilling around the structure and are currently placing the granular base for the new pavement. Once the contractor paves the road the concrete will need to cure before the road may be opened to traffic. While the concrete is curing the contractor will finish final grading work and seeding will occur. We are anticipating the road opening the end of next week, weather dependent.
