While the Veterans Affairs office is closed to the public, we are open for operation Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. For our newest Veterans, we are committed to helping you make a successful reintegration into civilian life and community.

All of Iowa’s 99 counties are served by a director/administrator and County Commission of Veterans Affairs. This is your initial point of contact; we urge you to contact our office if you are a resident of Story County or will soon be a resident of Story County.
